Pillow with Trim

To make a 16 inch pillow with trim you will need the following:
  • 2 -17 inch squares cut out of fabric
  • 2-3 yards trim, lace, etc.
  • 15 or 16 inch pillow form

Different Size Measurements

If you'd like a Pillow : Use:
12 inch 2 -13 inch squares of material
14 inch 2- 15 inch squares of material
16 inch 2- 17 inch squares of material
18 inch 2-19 inch squares of material

Pillow with Trim Tutorial Directions

  1. On one square pin your trim along edges of the right side.

  2. Stitch in place.

  3. Place two right side squares together. Make sure trim is tucked inward.

  4. Stitch around edges leaving one side open to insert your pillow form.

  5. Turn right sides out and insert pillow form.

  6. Pin edge and top stitch or slip stitch opened side.
