Sew a Snack Bag

These directions are to sew a snack bag. The great thing about this sewing tutorial is you can design your bag to fit different personalities and it is a baggie that can be used over and over again.


To get started on your reusable snack baggie, cut two pieces of fabric and a piece of interfacing the following dimensions,
9x 5- 1/2 inches.

Layer your outside fabric, interfacing and inside lining. You can make the outside and the lining different fabric if you'd like.

Turn the top edges down 1/4 inch on the inside lining and sew a hem on each end.

Cut a strip of velcro and pin to your hemmed edge. Contrasting velcro on separate ends. Sew velcro along the 4 sides.

Fold in half with the outside fabric on the inside. Sew along sides.

Turn inside out.
