Felt Ghosts Felt Ghosts

Felt Ghosts

For these felt ghosts you will need white felt for the bodies, black felt for the face and a small piece of red felt for the tongue.

First cut two ghost shapes out of felt for the front and back. Cut an oval shape for the bottom of the ghost.

Cut out and design eyes, mouth, and facial features out of black felt. Take the front, or one piece of white felt, and hot glue these pieces on, hand sew them or sew them by machine.

Once your ghost has a face. Pin your two ghost pieces front and back together. Sew along the edges and top leaving the bottom open. Pin your oval shape around the edges of the bottom of both ghost shapes. Sew together. Trim any excess felt if needed. This will allow your ghost to stand up.

Cut a slit in the back of the ghost to allow stuffing with candy.

This is a cute concept, but the directions and sewing could be so much better. I don't know that this would strike the interest of many kids.
