My name is Gail Done. I live on eight acres nestled in the forest behind Snoqualmie, WA, with my wonderful family. I have always had a love for the art of sewing. My first try was learning to embroider at about 5. Eventually I took to full-scale sewing at the age of 8. I loved it so much that I now have a Bachelors degree in Home Economics, Clothing and Textiles from Cal Poly San Louis Obispo.
Beginning Sewing Class:
The beginning classes start with familiarizing the student with the machine, fabrics, stitches, understanding of patterns, and simple student selected projects. The student will have supervised step-by-step instruction. In the eight month schedule the student will have at least eight projects accomplished, and the potential for many more.
Intermediate Sewing Class:
Intermediate classes start with familiarizing the student with more advanced functions of the machine, working with various types of fabrics, experimenting with numerous stitches, understanding the art of altering and/or creating your own patterns, and more advanced student selected projects.
As the skill of the student advances, so will the projects. The student will have supervised step-by-step instruction. In the eight-month schedule the student will have at least eight projects accomplished, and the potential for more.
