My Shiny Name Hat

My Shiny Name Hat

(Cambodia)

Materials needed:

A piece of cloth(80cm×50cm)-a bit dark color(better if a bit stretchy)
Beads
Decorating materials

Scissors
Thread
Needle

Instructions:

1. Measure the cloth as the shape of the photo above.(Length in the middle: 45cm, Maximum width: 45cm and minimum ones at the end is 12cm. Then connect the curving part).

2.Trace it into shape .

3.Cut it out carefully and neatly.

4.Fold each side about 0.7cm-1cm and place something to keep it in shape.

5.Use a needle and thread with similar color to the cloth to stitch the edges, so that it will look more neat.

6.Start stitching the sides with decorations(eg: beads, flower...) by giving allowances from the edges.

7. In the middle you can make a design with beads, strings, applique....
My idea is to stitch your name on it. Make sure it will be shiny and looks good enough for you to put it on your hat.

Note: Do not stitch anything much aside from the middle part, because it can't be shown when you wear it.

8.You can edit and check everything again and if you think it looks beautiful enough, then try to put it on your head and see if it fits.

Here's how to put on:
- Hold the cloth , the middle designed part should be on your forehead and use the bent part to tie it...You can use it as many styles you want to have.

!!!!!!!!DONE!!!!!!!!!!
