The owners of Hucklebaby Boutique are excited to offer a unique experience to any child who dreams of creating through the medium of sewing. We believe that children as young as 8 can benefit from learning this useful skill. Some basic information about our class:

* In this class, your child will learn basic sewing skills, such as, but not limited to, basic hand sewing, basic mending, parts of a sewing machine, how to thread a machine and a bobbin, straight stitching, how to cut fabric and piece together simple projects.

* Classes are offered on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, with a session from 3:15-4:15 (8-12 year olds) and a session from 4:30-5:30 (13-17 year olds).

* Classes are offered at a residential location in Matthews, and right now, are limited to 4 students per class session. Because there are two instructors, the ratio is such that your child will get a lot of one on one attention and teaching.
