Fancy Book Bag

Diagram of How to make the book bag!

What You Need:

60x30cm Fabric

2x 60 cm long ribbon in 2 colours

What to do:

Fold the fabric in 1/2 so that the inside of the fabric ( The bit you don't want to see) is showing. There should be a gap around 3 sides and a fold at one.

The folded edge is the bottom of the bag,and the opposite edge is the top. DO NOT sew this edge!

Sew the remaining two edges fairly close to the edge of the fabric Then turn the 'Bag' the right way out again. You now have the basic bag shape.

Next split the bag into 2 sections by sewing down the middle of the ribbon attaching it to the fabric

Finally Sew a handle onto the sides

Enjoy using your new bag!

this project can be done by young kids...make it simple and easy for beginners..i like it but i prefer more complicated ones
